This match reminded me of the tie break Wimbledon 2008, jumping from my seat so many times, but the worrier style of both players was so similar to the AO 2012, and as Joko said, it’s a shame only one can win. So happy it was our champion Rafa this time. but great respect for Daniil too, I’m sure he has a great career ahead of him

David de Gea’s probably wishing that our back 4 could defend as well as Rafa – I am too!! Both of them were amazing.
I’m so pleased that Rafa won this US Open grand slam and recaptured #1 going into the remainder of the year . . This has been a very productive and successful year for Rafa as he has managed to win 2slams , Canadian Masters and Italian Open . Also , made the semi’s in the other 2slams . it’s just amazing to see Rafa inch that much closer to Federer and move Djokovitch back to#2 and 3 slams behind . Kudo’s to Medvedev for his incredible come back and pushing Rafa to the very limit and almost taking the match.
So tired but it was unbelivable last night.
