According to Ultima Hora, Rafa and Mery will get married in Puerto Pollensa on October 19. The lovely couple will say “I do” on a property near La Fortalesa.
It is expected that this will be one of the biggest social events of this year, with well-known faces from the world of sport – the presence of, among others, tennis players Feliciano Lopez and Fernando Verdasco. King Juan Carlos, with whom Rafa has an excellent relationship and whom we have seen this summer with the tennis player and his fiancée, will also attend. Pau Gasol and Iker Casillas might be there too with other 500 guests, El Pais reported.
Very little has been revealed about the details of the wedding and the couple have declined to comment on their plans to the press so far.

I was happy to learn he received a fine for his disrespect shown to Rafa during their Wimby match.
Kyrgios kept arguing with the referee about “slow play.” In his defense, he kept talking about how slow Rafa plays. Rafa isn’t even playing Cincy. The guys got plenty of loose screws.
I hope they start fining him so that it hurts him financially. Take away as much prize money as legally possible.
He is an absolute disgrace. We will see whether the ATP has the integrity to impose a suspension or if they will ignore his behaviour for the sake of ticket sales. His inclusion on the Laver Cup team diminishes what is supposed to be a prestigious event. Will they choose to hype the “feud” with Rafa(totally one-sided)? Very much admire Rafa for taking the high road in not getting drawn into it. Then what about Nike sponsoring this ignoramus? They probably will continue unless there’s a consumer backlash. A heavy fine is not enough because he never learns, so many times already, enough is enough, he should get a suspension in my opinion.
