  1. It will be a very nice contrast for Rafa to wear this outfit. I loved his yellow Nike apparel from the 2 hard court tournaments this Summer. Ahh Rafa looks good in anything! Vamos Rafa give it your all next week.

    🙂

  2. Very nice. I quite like it. Looks very smart. Am sure Rafa will look more dashingly handsome especially with the jacket. 🙂 🙂 🙂

  3. I wish Rafa would show off his arms more and the muscle and go sleeveless, please cut off the sleeves and he would look so AMAZING!!!! Shoes need to have some color some dramatic color that matches his sleeveless shirt. white and black are boring and he is far from boring. YOUR HOT RAFA .

  4. El conjunto precioso…estaras como siempre….guapiso!!!! Ahora te falta el trofeo al lado…LO CONSEGUIRAS!!!!!

  5. Looks great! I just hope that he doesn’t continue to have the bull icon on his apparel and equipment, as it stands for horrific cruelty!!!

  6. There is a song by R.E.M. called “Ignoreland”. I had to think of it when reading the line “…is having a wonderful year”. Wake up please. Stop playing this game. The clay season was excellent, even more than that, but that is now almost 3 months ago. Since then, trouble hit paradise and it is serious. This game of ignorance. Why?

    • Because ignorance is bliss Jason, that’s why:) The view inside the sand is just magnificent!

Or, the cup is half full. At least until it all spills over. Then we fill it up halfway again and decide whether it’s half empty or half full.

  7. I don’t recall Rafa wearing the orange/coral before. I am sure Nike is running out of choices. Rafa will look good in anything. I was delighted to read that the Rafa statue at RG has been approved. He is so deserving of this great honor.

    • Statue? Thanks va4favre, I need to look that up. I’m interested in the development of RG for Paris 2024, but it’s a pity so much history is going to be demolished. What happens to the concrete slabs around no1 court with the winners’ names on them? It was one of the reasons I was determined to go there this year, while it was how it was. I wanted to see Rafa play on clay, but also to see an iconic piece of C20 architecture before it’s changed forever. I loved it. It’s overcrowded and lacking in modern-day facilities, but the whole place has so much atmosphere and character, and particularly, as a fan, Rafa’s achievements there resonate around the grounds. A statue would certainly be fitting. Actually there should be 10 of them!

And while I was writing that, I realised that the X shape, which is the dominant design element of RG, was anticipating Rafa’s La Decima. It was meant to be 🙂

      • Jas, How lucky you were to see Rafa play at RG. Several of the tennis sites have articles on the statue. I think Rafa has agreed to the pose from several submitted to him, and now the French Federation is seeking a sculptor to make it.

  8. Like the blue and lime green not keen on the orange but rafa always looks well presented
