Rafael Nadal and Maria Francisca Perello - Favorite Son of Mallorca (6)

Nadal will be joined by a superstar line-up of tennis personalities for Rafa’s Summer Set on Wednesday 14 January. … The 2009 Australian Open champion will face off against Verdasco and fellow stars of the sport in an entertaining showdown as he prepares for the first Grand Slam of the year. … Nadal said the event would be a great opportunity for all fans to experience the new-look Margaret Court Arena in tennis mode for the first time. “I’ve heard that the new roof on Margaret Court Arena is now finished and the pictures I’ve seen are amazing. The Australian fans are always fantastic and I hope they’ll come and experience the finished stadium at this special event,” Nadal said.

“I think he is (the best of all time), the numbers say so,” Toni Nadal told Spanish radio station Cadena COPE. “Federer is the best in the history of the game alongside Rod Laver and, unfortunately for us, it is like that.” … “Federer has won 17 grand slams – Rafael has won 14. He was No.1 for five years – Rafael for three. Therefore, there is no discussion; he is the best.” … “Djokovic is a great player. For me, he is almost at the level of Federer. He is very good. I don’t know if he is better or worse than Rafael. In titles, Rafael is better than him. In terms of how they play, I don’t know. At the end of the day, everyone is free to have whatever opinion they want.
