Nadal Watches Real Madrid-Mallorca Match, Praises Mbappé and Full Real Madrid Team

Earlier today, Rafael Nadal attended RCD Mallorca’s 1-1 draw against Real Madrid in their 2024/25 LaLiga opener at the Estadi Mallorca San Moix, accompanied by his father, Sebastián.

Prior to the match, our champ shared with Real Madrid TV that, after enjoying a vacation following the Olympics, he was now ready to resume practice in preparation for his upcoming appearance at the Laver Cup in Berlin.

When asked about the game, Rafa diplomatically praised both teams, acknowledging Real Madrid’s remarkable performance over the past season and their exceptional form in the last 10-15 years. He specifically commended Bellingham, Vinícius, Rodrigo, newly joined Mbappé, and the entire squad.

Spanish basketball star Rudy Fernández also made an appearance, taking the ceremonial kick-off.

Despite Real Madrid extending their unbeaten run across all competitions to 28 matches, Rafa likely found the draw a satisfactory result given his ties to both teams.

  1. Great to see Rafa out and enjoying himself. Need for tennis players and associates to
address rising number of injuries and mental fatigue. Few recovery days between tournaments is taking its toll on top players. Recent Alcaraz meltdown and Swiatek
    comments are examples.
