GOOD LUCK & VAMOS RAFA!
I live in the USA and the matches are showing on The Tennis Channel
So excited! I’ll be watching the match live. Vamos, Rafa!
Good luck for the start of the new season❤️ Vamos Rafa
Is it on TV, does anyone know? I can’t seem to find it anywhete.
United Kingdom: BT Sport and on the United Cup’s YouTube channel. I don’t know how the YouTube thing works, if it’s a paid thing or peppered with ads from the end of the rally until a microsecond before the next serve ball toss. Who can say?
Brilliamt, thank you. I’ve got BT Sport but hadn’t looked on there because they don’t usually show tennis.
Hmmmmm. This is a bit strange. I looked up the broadcasters for every country covering it and it said, UK, BT Sport. After looking up the BT Sport schedule, there’s nothing there to do with the United Cup. That’s quite rubbish.
Ways and means to watch afterwards but as for live. I’m stumped. Sorry for getting your hopes up about BT Sport. You can always have a more thorough search on your set top box but the BT Sport website has nadda.
Good luck for the start of 2023
Thanks for the info. It’s a shame the entire tournament is mixed doubles, which I’ve unfortunately found quite boring. Thanks for the match time though.
I think I’ve got that right, all matches mixed doubles? If so. Yawn.
There are men and women’s singles along with the mixed doubles matches. Rafa will play Norrie, who beat de Minaur last night. I am not sure how the United Cup will turn out, but I am hoping for a competitive event.
Thank you so much for clarifying that. Very much appreciated. Kind of seems like Davis or Billy Jean King Cup but with mixed doubles as well as Doubles. Don’t know about the scoring system but as the tournament progresses it should become clearer. Thanks again.
The fact that it is a combined ATP and WTA event as well as the mixed doubles makes the United Cup unique. I think the old Hopman Cup had a similar format. Also the mixed doubles can be helpful to Rafa as it gets him on the court and playing up by the net can be helpful too.
