Roland Garros R4: What time does Rafael Nadal play against Felix Auger-Aliassime?

Rafael Nadal’s French Open campaign will continue as he will play his fourth round match in Paris on Sunday. He will face world No. 9 Felix Auger-Aliassime.

It will be the second meeting between the pair, but the first since Toni Nadal joined the Canadian’s team in 2021. Rafa claimed a 6-3, 6-3 victory in their previous meeting in Madrid in 2019.

Felix on playing Rafa:

“I don’t know if I need insight on how Rafa plays, to be honest; I think we all know what he does well. It’s up to me, at the end of the day, when I come on the court to try to find solutions.”

Rafa on playing Felix:

“He’s one of the players in better shape on the Tour, without a doubt. It’s a Round of 16 [match]. I know I have to play at a very high level to have chances to keep going. [It is] going to be a good test. In some way, that’s what I need.”

Rafa, who opened the 2022 season at a personal-best 20-0, won three hard-court titles to begin the year but is seeking his first clay trophy since Rome last May. He won a record-breaking 21st Grand Slam title at the Australian Open and can move two titles clear of Djokovic and Roger Federer by claiming No. 22 in Paris.

GOOD LUCK & VAMOS RAFA!

  1. Rafa will hopefully jump all over Felix at the outset as we cannot afford to give up a early service break in the 1st set . Rafa knows this is a difficult opponent and I think he will rise to the occasion as Rafa owns this Court .

  2. As i ”ve predicted earlier on, something will happen tomorrow……but let us wait and see……..
