  1. Thiem demolished Anderson: 6-4, 6-2. There’s a good chance he will win Madrid regardless of whom he plays tomorrow, Shapo or Sascha.

    Hasta mañana.

  2. I was disappointed that Rafa lost to Thiem yesterday , At 4-4 in the first set after breaking Thiem to even the set , Rafa netted 2 easy unforced overhand volleys to give the break back to Thiem who proceeded to serve out the first set . . The match was determined by Rafa playing too nervously and not being confident enough . I think Rafa will have a tough time in Rome but will definetly prevail at Roland Garros on the slower red clay . I look forwrad to the French Open and Rafa’s 11th title . Vamos Rafa forever .

    • What really got me nuts was some fans having Rafa out before the first set was even finished.

I hope Rafa rebounds in Rome. Wishing him a great tournament and he will have heavy competition. Winning the French would be stupendous.

      RAFA ROCKS

      • Well Margo, that’s never nice but it clearly was one of those days. Watching Nadal for years, makes recognizing this rather easy.

      • Having watched Rafa for so many years what is recognizable is that sometimes he has a slow start. As recognizable as his dimples.

        RAFA ROCKS

  4. Rafa I am sure you were feeling pretty tired after all your tennis of late.

I didn’t see it but apparently Dominic played a strong game.

All the best for a rest, regroup with Carlos and your team,

and I pray for a strong time in Rome.

    love and prayers,
