  1. The ATP has listed the award winners for 2016. Roger won the Sportsmanship, and Fans’ Favorite awards; DelPotro won Comeback Player of the Year; Stan’s coach, Magnus Norman, won Coach of the Year.

A full list of the winners, and who chose them, is on the ATP website.

  2. Calendar ordered Sunday and arrived Thursday , The package did not have my house number on it just the road name luckily I only live in a small Close so neighbours recognised my name , I’m wondering if this is why Elaine’s went astray last year. That said this calendar is definitely better than last year’s with some gorgeous pictures , and the month of August has a beautiful pic of Rafa and Marc beaming and biting their Olympic gold medal . I know the calendar with shipping can be expensive but believe me you won’t be disappointed.😂

  3. I have never had a problem ordering items from the official site. Rafa’s book was not sold on his site. I bought it from Amazon. The calendar id delivered by courier. 50% of the cost of the calendar goes to his Foundation, This is understandable as the cost of production and printing is substantial. You pay by Paypal or bank transfer, I do wish that Credit Card payment was acceptable. However the calendar is a quality production

  4. I am guessing it depends where in the world you live to how much shipping you pay ,I can only speak for myself but the shipping to the UK cost nearly as much as the calendar , which works out around £25 pound but I look at it as you have a year of Rafa. I am surprised about the 15% as on the website in big highlighted letters it states 50% goes to the foundation.

    • No guessing here, shipping costs do depend on where both the sender and recipient are located. When the high cost of shipping was quoted it led me to think how much of the price of the calendar was actually going to the foundation. By this time I was curious to find out more.

In the US we have organizations that give donors a breakdown of their contributions. I couldn’t find any info on Rafa’s foundation so I sent an email. I did see the 50% quote. Since I had planned to make a direct contribution I wanted to double check this 50% because even that was a low quote. If you read my comment, you will see that I sent a second email asking about the 50%.

I also stated that some just wanted a calendar while others, like me, may prefer to donate directly. Either choice, some money goes to his foundation.

  5. I was going to purchase a calendar but when the shipping costs are almost as much as the calendar, according to an earlier comment, I decided to contact the foundation to find out how much of the price of the calendar actually goes to the foundation. I was astonished. The first email said 15% of the price goes to the foundation. I thought that was an error so I asked for a confirmation in a second email. The response, “Yes it is, the 15% of the price of the calendar goes to the Rafa Nadal Foundation.”
My family has a long tradition of giving to charitable causes and that’s what led me to seek information directly from Rafa’s site. I couldn’t find any info on Charity Navigator’s website.
I do know that some members are interested only in the calendar, but those of you who primarily wish to donate to his foundation, I thought this might be of interest.

    RAFA ROCKS

  6. My calendar is on its way , I am so hoping that August will show Rafa holding the flag in the Olympics ,also great that 50% goes to Rafa Nadal Foundation Projects. Rafa you are such a genuine lovely guy and have just posted a message on Instagram- Congrats to my friend Andy Murray on becoming world Number One . I second that Rafa ( still wishing it was you) lets hope Novak doesn’t reclaim it in London.

  7. Elaine you can find his book on Amazon. You can also find a calendar on another well known site but beware it is not the OFFICIAL one.

  8. I have bought Rafa’s official calendar for the past 4 years and have always received it , the only downside is the shipping cost it’s nearly as much as the calendar and works out at £25 . Luckily though I can put on a Christmas list.

  9. I am a 63 year old Rafael Nadal’s fan. Watching tennis without Rafael playing is not the same. I stay on Zambia and despite time differences I stay up most nights of I know my idol is playing. It has been rough these last few months but there can never be anyone as good as Rafael. I would certainly buy his calendar if I could. Go Rafael. Waiting for another grand slam.

  10. Elaine, I live in Perth, Western Australia n my grandson bought me the book Rafa, when it first came out, from Dimmocks Book Store. Try a large book store. I have since lent my book to about 20 people. I am 81 years old n followed Rafa since his teenage years, but have never seen any calendars in a book store? I would love to get one of Rafa’s singing n dancing Videos!

Rafa, why have you skipped coming to Perth for the Hopman Cup? Roger is coming💥💥💥. You have a lot of fans in Perth n would enjoy our beaches, sun n sand! You will win many more really big ones my boy – keep practising that Strong Serve. Vamos Rafa. God Bless You. Your Aussie Abuela. 👑👑🏆🏆😀😊😇

  11. I am a big, big fan of Rafa but 14 pounds for a calendar?? I am in Canada which means that it is almost double that price due to our low dollar. As much as I would love to buy one, it is just too expensive – sorry!

  12. Last year I ordered the Calendar for 2016 from Rafa’s site but didn’t receive it.

Also I ordered his book but didn’t recieve it either,

    Sorry to tell you that,

    Alaine(elainecrowder@hotmail.com.)
