It was just an exhibition game for the Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic, but the two men gave the crowd in Milan plenty to smile about.
The result was the least important thing (Nole won 6-4, 6-4), it was all about the fans who enjoyed themselves with the great spectacle offered by two of the best players in the world.

Mac has still got it! He needs to be reminded it’s polite go let the host win. Hope he loses his rhythm in the rain delay😂. Not sure what happened to Mats – must be injured. Can you imagine the faces of that kid’s parents – they must be amazed and so proud. Heaviest rain I ever saw was in Majorca – usually short and sharp!
LOL And I was about to ask you where Mats is….I thought I saw him enter before Rafa…did you?
He’s sitting besides Rafa’s seat watching
Teresa thank you for the link it works perfectly😁
To promote his academy, Rafa will hold an exhibition doubles match at the academy, possibly today. I can’t confirm the date or time. The match will be Rafa and Wilander vs McEnroe and Moyà. Free to all.
I came across the above info happenstance.
http://ib3tv.com/directe This is a live link – hope it works!
TERESA, YOU’RE THE BEST!
Thanks so much. When/how did you find this….I was surprised by how little info I could find.
Great to see sooo many children there, so many smiling faces!
RAFA IS A ROCK STAR
This is so amazing. Jmac playing with an umbrella😂 and Rafa so smiley and happy… Wonderful to present the academy to the public like this. 😇 !
Its on now
You guys should know that when playing for their respective Foundations the host wins. That is the custom. These are fun events and spectators want to see fun. They got it. Sosa and jbeer are patheric people. Chill out guys and appreciate fun! I guess that would take a personality change !!
There are some people whose idea of fun is to tear someone down on all occasions even at a charity event where , as you rightly say, it is the custom for the host to win.
Fortunately the majority of us just want to enjoy the event and are not concerned as to who wins or loses. It isn’t that kind of match.
In any case true sports fans do not lower themselves to making derogatory and spiteful remarks about players if they lose , especially in a charity match where the main objective is to raise funds for those in need. A very childish and pitiful attitude to take especially in these circumstances.
Well said Beverley. Whether it’s fun or a need to exercise some sickness in their lives we’ll never know. It doesn’t appear to be ‘opinion’ orientated. I suspect one is a ‘fanatical’ fan with a screw loose and one a fan of the opposition but i’m speculating. Too much time is spent on them and getting around their nasty comments as it is.
JUST THE BEST GUY EVER AND SO GORGGGGXXX
What a beautiful smile Rafa has! It melts my heart! So great to see him so happy! I’ll treasure every match he plays. Win or lose, he leaves his passion, his fighting spirit, and his incredible talent on the court, every single time. Forever your fan.
Mi cariño, mi bello, un homme extraordinaire tout simplement!
RAFA EL FABULOSO
Mi Rafa bellos eres lo maximo, Vamos Rafa
J adore cette initiative 👍vamos rafa❤❤❤❤❤
Love to see Rafa smile!! And I think there is no one else in the world who loves children more!
Rafa is so wonderful, but I have to admit that I was a little disappointed that Rafa did not win. Even an exhibition would have been a start. On the other hand, Rafa had to be tired from playing Davis Cup in India. He was barely home, before he had to leave for Milan. There are a lot of great photos from this event. There is one of Novak jealously eyeing one of Rafa ‘s underwear ads. Very funny!
How lovely to see the ‘human’ side of these guys, just having some fun. I hope our Rafa can attain his best level to challenge the Djoker correctly again.
Nice videos. Vamos Rafa <3
The Italian commentator was a bit naughty😉. Not like Rafa to make risque comments! Must get my Italian friend to check this. Looked like alot of fun. I wonder where it was actually televised? I heared Sky Sports. I was going to post a comment ‘J Beer to arrive soon’ but he beat me to itLOL😂. Off to work😑. Have a beautiful day darling Rafa and his wonderful fans🙌
So Lovely to see Rafa with that little boy what a wonderful young man you are Nole.s great too
Lovely to see both players relaxed and having fun. Rafa could that smile of yours get any bigger . Would have been great to have seen this exhibition match televised .
LOVE YOU RAFAEL FOR THE BEAUTIFUL HUMAN BEING YOU ARE. THEN I LOVE YOU FOR THE SPORTSMANSHIP YOU SHOW. IT DOESN’T MATTER IF YOU WIN OR LOSE, YOU DID IT FOR A CAUSE. YOU ARE A WONDERFUL EXAMPLE FOR THE YOUNGER GENERATION TO COME.
GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY.
LOVE YOU RAFA ALWAYS.
he can’t beat joker in the exhibition match. He’s completly submisive to his Boss Joker.
What on earth are you smoking, or inhaling?
Yeah it’s puppy dog behaviour by the former GOAT candidate.
💩
Rafa so glad you make those KIDS SMILE, you are Fantastic.
Rafa, so very generous of you to have played an exhibition match vs Nole, all proceeds of which will go to Nole’s foundation. Your love of children shines through, but you didn’t have to let him win. May your generosity come back @ you tenfold!
RAFA ROCKS
