On his way to his fifth title in Madrid, our champ could then play Kevin Anderson, Stan Wawrinka or Grigor Dimitrov, Roger Federer and finally Kei Nishikori, David Ferrer or Andy Murray.

If the men play to seed the quarter-final line up will be:

  • Roger Federer vs. Tomas Berdych
  • Rafael Nadal vs. Stan Wawrinka
  • Kei Nishikori vs. David Ferrer
  • Andy Murray vs. Milos Raonic

All the best of luck in the world to our champ! Vamos Rafa!

  1. If Rafa is using his old racket, then I think there’s no reason to believe he couldn’t win this Madrid title. After a week’s rest and practice, he should be doing better than at Barcelona. I do hope to see a more aggressive Rafa at Madrid, the one who played the earlier rounds at Madrid last year, not the defensive Rafa in the Madrid final vs Kei last year.

  2. Bit of a rough draw but if you are back in form you can beat them all Rafa. Luck also plays a bit part. Remember, you will always be our Champ n King of Clay. I pray for you my boy. Vamoooos Rafa. Love your Aussie Nana. 😅😅😅
