New ATP rankings: Rafael Nadal could take over No.1 spot in Asia

The ATP Rankings are out, and for now, there is no change in Rafael Nadal’s standing. However, things may take a different turn when the China Open in Beijing and the Shanghai Masters get under way, where Rafa is slated to play. Novak Djokovic defends both titles.

Vamos Rafa!
Vamos Rafa!

There are no changes for Rafa in the Race to London, where he has a considerable lead over the other players, having earned the most ATP points this year. It’s been a phenomenal year for Rafa, and with just one more victory, he can tie his own personal record for the maximum number of ATP titles earned in a year (11 in 2005). Vamos Rafa!
