Rafael Nadal beats Jesse Levine at Rogers Cup

Rafael Nadal won the first singles match that he played in the hard court season this summer, by defeating Canadian wild card Jesse Levine 6-2, 6-0. The victory followed his successful doubles bid on Tuesday.

The opening games of the first set were engaging, with long rallies, and seemed to signify a long match. However, the set moved quickly beyond the first few games in Rafa’s favor. The second set was much faster, ending at 6-0.
