  1. Thanks for posting this. I actually watch Roddick’s podcasts from time to time, but didn’t realize that he recently did one with Rafa. It was an interesting interview and it confirmed for me how long and hard Rafa tried to continue to compete. And I had that thought after the Olympics that he was done. I miss him, but he made the right choice to finish. He’s too professional and competitive to want to play if he can’t be at his very best. I’m also really curious to see what the French Open does to honour him – I hope it’s grand and glorious, just as Rafa deserves!

  2. Hi Rafa, just finished watching your interview with Andy on YouTube. Wonderful!
There were comments after that where they say you said that Novak was the greatest. Not sure, because you were talking about ball control being the best you ever saw – nothing else. Anyway media has a way of doing things

Miss you like crazy. Watch tennis but not with the same intensity. Tennis is just not the same.

    All my love.

Stay well and hope your foot gets better soon!

    ❤️🤗😘🥰🍀

  3. HOW my world has changed since Rafa retired. I watch tennis daily still. But the excitement is gone. Miss you, Rafa. Tennis 🎾 will never be the same.

  4. Thank you for sharing this interview. Great to see the respect these two players have for
each other; Roddick was prepared and gave his perspective as a player who experienced
Rafa’s success. Of course, we miss you, Rafa. We look forward to the Roland Garros
tribute to Rafa. At the moment, Indian Wells is not the same without your presence🎾🥰

    • You’re welcome, Isabel. Thank you for being here with us. As we can see many fan accounts have changed their names and moved on but we decided to stay as long as you and other Rafans keep coming back to our website and remain loyal to Rafa. Hugs!
