Thanks for posting this. I actually watch Roddick’s podcasts from time to time, but didn’t realize that he recently did one with Rafa. It was an interesting interview and it confirmed for me how long and hard Rafa tried to continue to compete. And I had that thought after the Olympics that he was done. I miss him, but he made the right choice to finish. He’s too professional and competitive to want to play if he can’t be at his very best. I’m also really curious to see what the French Open does to honour him – I hope it’s grand and glorious, just as Rafa deserves!

HOW my world has changed since Rafa retired. I watch tennis daily still. But the excitement is gone. Miss you, Rafa. Tennis 🎾 will never be the same.
