It was a busy Wednesday for recently retired Rafael Nadal, who was a special guest at the Manchester City Football Academy. Stopping for photos with the likes of Pep Guardiola, Erling Haaland, Jack Grealish and Manuel Akanji, our champ received a warm welcome from the squad, along with plenty of congratulations on his incredible tennis career.
Later that evening, Rafa attended the match at Anfield, cheering on Real Madrid against Liverpool in the Champions League. Unfortunately, his beloved football club, enduring a less-than-stellar season, was defeated 2-0 by Liverpool.
