It’s no surprise Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz are on front pages, full of praise despite the loss.
The Spanish press is lauding “Nadalcaraz” with headlines like “Thank you Rafa” and “You Are Golden for Us,” while journalists are asking, “Is that the last time we saw Rafa?”
Spain’s dream team saw their Olympic doubles gold medal hopes dashed on Wednesday as Rafa and Carlitos were defeated by the American duo Rajeev Ram and Austin Krajicek.
“Nadalcaraz,” as they have become known since teaming up for the Paris Games, received raucous support from a jam-packed Court Philippe Chatrier. At times, the noise from the fans resembled that of a soccer arena, roaring in support of the Spaniards.

Dunc and others like him should be banned from this site. Their posts are insulting and offensive to Rafa and his Fans. Of course that is why they do what they do but we should not have to put up with it. Only miserable people derive satisfaction from upsetting others. Truly pathetic! Ban them.
