  1. The experts who put Taylor Fritz in the finals from the top half were wrong. He lost to fellow American B. Holt.

Similarly Tsitsipas drops off the list of players who could become No. 1 by winning the US Open. He lost to someone named Galen.

These losses benefit Medvedev quite a bit.

    Go Rafa!

  2. According to a report from spain nadal had a sexual relationship with Shakira in 2009. I dont know if that is true but if its true rafa has some explaining to do towards his wife and it means huge blow to his image.

    • This is a rumor until confirmed by Rafa himself. No need to spread vicious and malignant rumors. This is irrelevant to the tennis that will be played in the next 2 weeks. Just a poorly timed attempt to distract Rafa from his goal of winning the US Open.

    • I doubt that …have you seen the video… he is so shy and awkward in it… I don’t believe any of it…. Just like they said he was doping and I even heard that he was gay! Just not a nice time to bring it up with Mery in the hospital & very pregnant.

  3. Two respected tennis experts, Steve Tignor and Gill Gross, have independently predicted a final between Rafa and Taylor Fritz with Rafa winning it all. I think Rafa would be even more of a favorite if it were not for the concerns about the lingering ab injury. From the quotes I see here and elsewhere it is clear that Rafa is concerned too and is taking nothing for granted.

I would hate to see Taylor Fritz in the final because he is just a bad luck charm for Rafa and injuries. But I would still like Rafa’s chances of winning.

    Go Rafa!
