Daniil on playing Rafa:

“It’s always special to play against him. And kind of a chance to get my revenge. Have to learn from the best, Rafa, Roger, Novak and Andy, always when they were losing a tough fight they were trying to get their revenge. Sometimes they managed to do it and sometimes not – that’s what I’m going to try to do if I play Rafa.”

Rafa on playing Daniil:

“Everybody knows how difficult it is to play against Daniil. I have to play at my highest level if I want to have a chance. It’s going to be another battle. He’s playing well, with confidence, No. 1 right now, so I’m excited to play that match.”

Rafa is undefeated so far in 2022, with a career-best 13-0 start to his season. He has titles from the Melbourne 250 event and the Australian Open to show for his efforts.

GOOD LUCK & VAMOS RAFA!
