Mexican Open R2: What time does Rafael Nadal play against Stefan Kozlov in Acapulco?

21-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal will continue his Mexican Open campaign on Wednesday when he faces lucky loser Stefan Kozlov, his Monday practice partner.

The American had an adventure of a first-round win against Grigor Dimitrov, stopping a practice set with Rafa upon receiving late word that he had a place in the main draw.

The two have never played before, though Rafa will nonetheless come in with plenty of confidence, riding an eleven-match winning streak into today’s match.

“It would be amazing, it would be a great honour for me. I think he’s a fantastic person, and I have great respect for him. I’ll really enjoy it, definitely.”

If Rafa wins Acapulco for a fourth time this year, he would tie Thomas Muster and David Ferrer for most titles in the tournament’s history. He is 20-2 at the ATP 500 event, winning it twice when it was held on clay (in 2005 and 2013) and once since it switched to hard in 2014 (in 2020).
