Top-seeded Rafael Nadal booked a spot in the Melbourne Summer Set final with a 6-4, 7-5 victory over Emil Ruusuvuori. Rafa finished the match with 24 winners to 21 unforced errors, and he converted three of his four break point opportunities.
It took Rafa just a single week in 2022 to guarantee him 19th consecutive season where he has reached an ATP singles final. His first final came in 2004, and he has not missed a year without at least one appearance in a championship match since.

The Melbourne WTA event and the ATP Cup are both on Amazon Prime, but this event isn’t, annoyingly!

I know, it sucks! I think I’ve been sold short with my subscription to Amazon Prime! It’s all about the money with these providers.
I agree. I just assumed that Amazon Prime would cover this 250 tournament, especially with Rafa as top seed. Tennis TV does cover every ATP tournament and the annual subscription is reasonable. I subscribe to both. However, as a UK Resident, I must say that Amazon Prime is much better value than Sky Sports ever were when they covered the ATP Tour and Amazon Prime also cover the WTA Tour, which Sky never did, which is great.
