The official wedding photographs from Rafael Nadal and Maria Francisca Perello’s wedding have been released – and they are dreamier than we had ever imagined.
The wedding took place at the 17th-century fortress known as La Fortaleza. Boasting beautiful sea views and steeped in history, it served as both the ceremony and reception venue.

I remember I had a “bonus” in Paris the Monday after I watched Rafa lifted his 10th French Open. I visited the museum and decided to walk back to the hotel to get some exercise. I am thrilled I did because I saw so many people gathering in front of the Nike store on my way back. As it turned out, Rafa was supposed to show up for promotion. I waited less than 10 minutes, Rafa came with his parents, Maria and some team members. It is very true, Maria is beautiful. Rafa and Maria are made for each other💞

Yes, I was very lucky, what a nice surprise! Imagine people waited for a long time to see Rafa. If I knew, I would have done the same and skipped the museum.
But my luckiest moment came during the Barcelona Open this year. I saw Rafa and his team in the hotel lobby waiting for a ride to practice the morning before his first match the next day. I could not believe my eyes……I asked Rafa for his autograph and even had a photo with him. Like the rest of the Rafa fans, I found out it was some of the toughest time during that period for Rafa but things have changed since, Rafa went through it and has had a great season, so thankful.
Hope Rafa stays healthy and injured free so we can enjoy more of his greatness👍
