Nice warm up for Rafa! Our champ did it in straight sets, no sweat:)
How could Thiem lose in the first round??!! I still have the goosebumps from his outstanding performance in the first set bagel against Rafa in last years QF.
Don’t need no drama this year Rafa. Stay sharp, stay strong, one down, six more to go!
I was surprised to see how badly he lost but then post match Thiem revealed that he is still feeling the effects from the same virus that led him to pull out of Cincy. Wishing him a speedy recovery and hoping he hasn’t infected anyone at the US Open.
Hey everyone… What a day!!! Tsis struggled today and Thiem…what a shocker. Zverev almost lost. Went 5 sets…This clears a huge path for our boy..
And speaking of Rafa … I’m here watching it live … Hope you are all getting in on TV. He’s looking so sharp… So far..so good…
Good luck to my No. 1 tennis champion Rafa for tonight’s match and through to the final. Avoid doorframes and moving cameras: Wimby 2017 and FO 2019 respectively. Scrambled eggs are not on the menu.
Do I go to bed, get up early and watch the match on Amazon Prime before work, or do I watch it live – it starts just after midnight UK time- and hope it’s not a long 5-setter? Can’t decide!!
