I imagine the qualifiers are so happy to have qualified to play Roland Garros… It must be very thrilling… and then they see their first or second round is against Rafael Nadal, and they get this pit in their stomach and say “Uh-Oh”…and rightfully so… And honestly, I can’t help but smile…. Today was a very solid performance for our boy.. He was comfortable and in command and I never worried for a second.
Next up Goffin… Rafa knows what to expect and has beaten him many a time before …he took care of business then…he will take care of business now. Keep chopping wood Rafa…one match at a time!!

Estupendo Bravo Rafa 😀 I have seen the high lights. Wished I was there. 😕Yesterday saw the long match of Zverev in the Central Court 😀 then Verdasco his Spanish player friend in an annexe court , he won against the English player Daniel Evans. 😀 He stopped for photos and saw him close up, very Spanish looking, tall dark and handsome😘 For us women it is just as much to see the player close up as to see the match. 😉 Fiona in Paris
