  1. After the controversy over the roof closure during Rafa’s Wimbledon match with Novak last year, there has been a rule change which will take effect as of this year’s tournament. There will be no consultation with players and any match that is postponed due to the 11pm curfew, will continue the next day outdoors unless rain forces the issue.

    Such a pity the problem wasn’t foreseen earlier, but hey, better late than never.

  2. Bis is absolutely right, she can channel her opinion and shouldn’t be attacked just because the opinion isn’t to your liking. Nadal’s mental weakness has cost him three full years of his career (combined with physical issues) from RG 2014 (he was already in a very bad state since the AO14 final) up until RG2017. Djokovic’ issues from July 2016 triggered Nadal’s comeback and – not a coincidence – with Djokovic now roaring on all cylinders, it’s Rafa who’s nervous and anxious once again. I don’t think he’s yet as bad as he was in 14/15 but he’s not far off. Even the winner shown here, was far from optimal. A Rafa in form would hit that much closer to the lines. Democracy and freedom of speech, let that be leading, no matter what the forum is.

  3. Rafa played a little tentative and was a bit nervous . I think Rafa must play more aggressively and with greater confidence . Losing to Thiem and Fognini are a stepping stone to winning at Roland Garros . I say that because I know Rafa will resestablish his dominance on clay by making the necessary adjustments . Bestvof Luck Rafa !

  5. Shame on you, Rafa…I love you always, but…not optimistic anymore for your clay season
    Your issue is mental…and actually you don’t do anything about for long time,ignoring it….but it will bite you in the end
    I hope I am not right, because I love you, but Rafa…it’s time to get a psychologist
