  1. Surprisingly (not) Zverev won , same pattern wins 2 sets loses 2 ( not in any order,) and then plays a great 5th set with the tennis we know he can play, and yet we haven’t seen the tantrums we are use to when he loses these sets. As Maria (Siberia) would say Hmmmmn……..

  2. Watching the tennis today and I’m not buying these five set games by Zverev against lesser seeded players when usually he plays great against the top seeds. Every time anybody plays Rafa in 5 sets Rafa is the favourite to win , we hear the commentator’s say it time and time again. I think Zverev knows this and is making his matches go to five sets so he can get the experience and build up his stamina for if he reaches the final against Rafa. I’m betting come later on this week when he’s against higher seeded players his matches will suddenly shorten so he can preserve his energy for the final . Just my opinion and I hope I’m wrong.

      • Thanks Susie. About the leg, It wud take time to heal but there is no pain anymore. Right now my only work is to keep watching Rafa’ s matches😄

    • Navdeep, hello from the Philippines. Reading your birthday notes to Rafa gave me a nostalgic feeling too. Was it only a year ago when Rafa was that retriever of a tennis player who maybe was lacking in finesse then but always was a fighter till the end? And that capri pants and the sleeveless green shirt! Indeed, from a wonder boy to a living legend, as you aptly put it. He is like our favorite boy in the neighborhood who has grown to be a giant in the sporting world,32? Not my boy Rafa. I refused to grow old.
