Rafa on Federer:

He has the talent to do very difficult things that look easy. He’s able to take the ball very early. Serve and first shot, he creates a lot of winners with that, the two first shots.

Rafa leads the overall head to head 23-12.

Federer has never defeated Rafa in three straight meetings. He won their last two meetings in 2015 Swiss Indoors and 2017 Australian Open finals.

Here are all the matches they have played against each other:

GOOD LUCK & VAMOS RAFA!

  1. Wow , way to go Nick , your attitude was great tonight and you did Australia proud. I think you like tennis more than you let on by your reaction. Hopefully now you know how good it feels to win it will spur you on to try harder in all your matches . Well done mate.

    • Seriously… he displayed ultra high intensity throughout the entire match, and didn’t let up at all! Kudos to him. WOW.

  2. Oh I’m getting nervous for rafa’s match. I think Roger thinks he’s invincible cos he won in austrailia. I hope rafa shows him who is boss!

  3. Vamossssssss Rafa this is your time to win .you are playing .xoxo🎾🎾🎾🎾🎾🎾🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️

  4. I don’t know , one tantrum and one broken racket and they call Kyrgios immature. Who’s the adult now?

  5. Oh and novak just smashed his racket when he lost the set and got a warning. Yes that will put him in a worse mood as he’s seething. Nick has been pretty restrained and well behaved – so far

  6. Oh CRIKEY Susie don’t do that he really not worth it (haha) , but yes that’s what I was referring to , he needs to get himself a new coach quick so they can tell him how cringy it looks, I actually feel embarrassed for him. Novak keep the shots coming ,but Nick’s Australian you know and just like a boomerang those balls are just gonna keep coming back

  7. You mean when he holds his arms out and bows and blows kisses to each side of the stadium – which makes me want to end it all. So artificial and trying too hard. Yuk is right.

  8. Hi Susie , anyone who knocks Novak off his pedestal is in my good books ( for now anyway). I don’t think I can put up with Novak’s end of match ritual when he wins , I think he thinks he a king thanking his loyal subjects YUK. Not an ideal situation Nick going through but we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it ..

  9. Hi Maria. Hee hee – me too but only cos he’s playing novak! Mind you I don’t know why as I don’t really want nick playing rafa at the rate he’s serving. But we can’t have it all our way I suppose.
