Rafael Nadal and Stan Wawrinka will be facing each other for the 17th time in their careers and for the third time this fall when they clash during round-robin action at the ATP World Tour Finals on Monday night.

Every time I come here I arrive with motivation to try my best. This year is not an exception even if it was not an ideal season for me. I’m here to keep fighting as I did the last tournaments and I had the motivation to do it.

Rafa has played Stan 16 times before and leads the series 13-3 (8-2 on hard), but our champ lost three of their past four matches. The Swiss claimed quarter-final victories in Rome and at last week’s BNP Paribas Masters, while Rafa split the two losses with a win in the Shanghai Rolex Masters quarter-finals.
