Third seed Rafael Nadal progressed to the quarterfinals of the Swiss Indoors in Basel, after he defeated Grigor Dimitrov 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 on Wednesday night. Our champ will face either Marin Cilic or Teymuraz Gabashvili in the last eight.

Great win against Grigor! If I could be Rafa’s coach for a month I would only focus on the serve! If Rafa could hold more service games easily I have no doubt that he will be able to win the slams again. In the returning games he creates more than enough chances to win matches. The problem right now is that the serve isn’t reliable. Yesterday it was really good at times, around 200 kph, but the consistency isn’t there. He needs to serve fast with a high percentage.
Anyways, Rafa has a good chance to win this tournament I think… It is looking better and better.
It’s painful to watch how Rafa’s struggling. what happened to him?. glad Rafa won but disappointed the way he’s playing.

Watched another nail biter again, and Rafa came back again. The two best matches at Basel have been with Rafa so far, that is what the crowds love and his fans too. All the best for the next one Rafa
