ATP List: Rafael Nadal moves up one spot in rankings

Newly-crowned Hamburg champion Rafael Nadal has moved up one place to No. 9 in the ATP rankings.

Novak Djokovic remains comfortably ahead of Roger Federer atop the rankings with Andy Murray clear in third.

2015 French Open champion Stan Wawrinka is No. 4, followed by Kei Nishikori, Tomas Berdych and David Ferrer, who is ranked seventh.

Marin Cilic is up to No. 8 in the world, while Milos Raonic dropped two places to No. 10.

“I’ll keep going with the same mentality and this title helps to be a little bit more calm and add some points to my Emirates ATP Ranking to try to finish the year in the Top 8 again,” said Rafa.

Our champ is currently 6th in the Race to London – up two places this week.

Rafa will next play in Montreal, Canada. The ATP World Tour 1000 tournament starts on August 10.
