The Roland Garros Draw is out. Nine-time champion Rafael Nadal will start his French Open defence against Quentin Halys.

- Round 1: Quentin Halys

- Round 4: Grigor Dimitrov
- QF: Novak Djokovic

Rafa, who is 66-1 at the clay-court major championship, has nine wins in Paris. He is the reigning champion, having beat Novak Djokovic in the 2014 finals. Good luck Rafa!
Miriama, your post is ridiculous. First of all, someone on a tennis forum posted stats and it showed that the average ranking of Nadal’s opponents is much lower than Novak’s. Novak gets higher seeded players than all the other top 4 members.
Saying Novak gets easier draws is wrong, especially when you bring up Rosol, Darcis and Kyrgios. Rosol was ranked 100, Darcis was ranked 135 and Kyrgios was a qualifier. That couldn’t be easier. The fact Nadal lost to them doesn’t mean it was tough. Novak is the only one of Nadal, Federer and Djoker who hasn’t had a really easy final opponent like Ferrer or Berdych, he has always beat top guys like Nadal himself. Saying qualifiers are hard for Nadal and guys like Tsonga are easy for Djoker is insulting Nadal.
If Nadal played ball boys and Djoker played the other top 4 members in a row you would say Nadal had a tough draw and Djoker had a cakewalk. It’s ridiculous.

No, no, noooo… Well, if Rafa does not win the La Decima this year, he can certainly achieve it next year when he’d be 100% fit as a fiddle.
I really think it’s Djokovic’s time to shine and that explains why everything has been going on well for him. I mean he has been lucky with his health, no injuries at all, and has the No 1 player the draws are bound to always favoyur him.
It’s Djokovic for the title. guys. Our champion will come back next year to reclaim it.
Dear Rafa: Think hard about how you need to play in order to win matches. If you realize how you must execute your game, than you WILL lift the 2015 French Open trophy. The French and its draw (?) have not treated this champion with the respect he merits! Besides not seeding him higher a la Wimbledon; they have the 1 vs. 6 in quarterfinals. Help me out here, should not it be 1vs8; 2vs7; 3vs6, if chalk holds? How is this configured?
Well, Rafa has always loved a challenge, and believed that suffering makes you stronger. He has certainly got that, and more, ahead of him. Here’s hoping he doesn’t push himself too hard ahead of time and can channel his inner bull and self-belief. Lately, he seems to have mastered resignation and acceptance, instead.
