  1. Don’t be surprised if the Rafa haters in the tennis media blame his appendicitis on his “style of play”, just like they blame his “style of play” for every other injury that he suffers. According to them, Rafa’s injuries are always “self-inflicted”, and not simply the result of bad luck. I’ve been following professional tennis for decades, and I’ve never heard tennis announcers & commentators blame any other player’s injuries on his or her “style of play”. Federer, Djokovic, Murray, Del Potro, Tsonga, Hewitt, Nishikori, Haas, Roddick and others have suffered injuries over the years, yet the media never said that their injuries were “self-inflicted”. On the women’s side, Serena, Sharapova, Azarenka, Henin, Clijsters and others have suffered injuries during their careers, yet the media never said that their injuries were “self-inflicted”. Only with Rafa do they make that unfounded, unsubstantiated, unproven accusation. Only with Rafa. Shame on tennis announcers & commentators – not all of them, but certainly most of them – for their blatantly biased, blatantly anti-Rafa coverage of the sport. Shame on them. VAMOS!!!

  2. Dear Rafa best of luck in shanghai but please if u r unwell don’t play. We want u fit & healthy & I worry about your health so much . VAMOS you wonderful champ ❤️❤️😘👍

  3. So many athletes suffer injuries and illness throughout their careers whether it be baseball,
football, soccer, tennis, etc. I watched Vikor Azarenka come back prematurely from her
foot injury this year. She played hobbling around I felt so sorry for her. She finally decided
to take the necessary time off to recover. Delpotro still isn’t back from his wrist injury.
Tommy Haas has been out with his injuries. I never enjoy seeing any athlete playing
when their health is compromised. I truly appreciate Rafa’s full commitment to his tour
and game but it is always better to be safe than sorry. I know he would have won the
2014 AO if his back didn’t go out against Stan but that’s the way life is in the world of
sports. Stuff happens. I rather see him fully recovered for 2015. Always a hero!
    Get well soon!
