Real Madrid legend Alfredo Di Stefano, regarded as one of the greatest players of all time, has died at the age of 88.
He suffered a heart attack on Saturday and was in a coma before passing away on Monday afternoon. Known as the ‘Saeta Rubia’ – the Blond Arrow – he helped Real Madrid win five successive European Cups between 1956-60 and scored in each of the finals.
Some well-known sportsmen and people related to him shared their messages of sadness for saying goodbye to Di Stefano. One of them is Rafael Nadal, who offered his condolences with a message on Facebook.
