Rafael Nadal still leads ATP rankings with 12,900 points

The world’s highest ranked tennis player Rafael Nadal will be holding onto his No.1 spot on the ATP list released on Monday, May 5, with 12,900 points, 1,860 more than Novak Djokovic and 6,525 more than Stanislas Wawrinka.

With the withdrawl of Novak Djokovic from Madrid, Rafa’s ranking will remain unchanged going into Madrid. Rafa is fourth in ATP Rankings Race to London list with 2,865 points. The 2014 Australian Open and Monte Carlo winner Wawrinka is on top with 3,535 points.

Our champion will play this week at the Mutua Madrid Open where he won the title for the third time in his career last year, beating Wawrinka 6-2, 6-4 in the final.
