World No. 1 Rafael Nadal quickly put his Monte-Carlo QF defeat behind him on Wednesday, as he began his quest for a ninth Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell crown with a hard-fought 7-6(2), 6-4 victory against Albert Ramos. Rafa rallied from a break down in the first set and hit 18 winners to 27 unforced errors as he prevailed in just under two hours.
In the third round, Rafa will face Ivan Dodig of Croatia, who defeated Feliciano Lopez earlier in the day. VAMOS RAFA!
