Rafael Nadal Eager for Summer Hard-Court Season

Rafael Nadal was seen practicing on a hard court in Manacor on Saturday. According to Rafa’s french fan Mathilde, he looked to be in top form, working on his attack and volley. Rafa did not have tape on his knee and did not show any signs of pain. His cousins were also on hand to show support. In all, it seemed like a great practice session.

Rafa’s summer hard-court run will begin in Montreal at the Rogers Cup next month. He has won the Rogers Cup title twice thus far in his career, defeating Andre Agassi in the 2005 finals and defeating Nicolas Kiefer in the 2008 finals.

UPDATED: Rafa was back on the court on Monday training hard!

  3. I’m a big Rafa fan so it’s a shame for me to think he won’t do good in his summer run to the US OPEN! But because of what happened at Wimbledon, there’s this bit in me that say’s “hmm..I’m not so sure now!”… Anyway, I’m praying and hoping he will do good! …VIVA NADAL!!!
