A day late and a set down, Rafael Nadal won round 2 at Roland Garros in four sets, defending Martin Klizan 4-6, 6-3, 6-3, 6-3.

Rafa dropped the first set but came back with a vengeance, keeping the next two sets at an even 6-3. The last set saw Rafa once again dominate over the left-handed Slovak, winning it 6-3, albeit after a few misses. This is the first time that Rafa has lost the first set in each of the first two rounds at the French Open.

Rafa’s next opponent is the Italian Fabio Fognini, whom he defeated in round 2 of the Rome Masters earlier this month.
