Rafael Nadal Wants Golf Match with Federer, Djokovic and Murray

Rafael Nadal’s love for golf isn’t new. He’s been passionate about the game for years — even during his reign as the king of clay. But the never-ending tennis calendar left him little time to fully enjoy it.

Now, with professional tennis behind him, Rafa is finally embracing his other sporting love — and, in true Nadal fashion, he’s not doing it halfway. He’s reportedly playing off scratch.

“Yes, it could happen, but they have to get training – I have a bit of an advantage in that,” Rafa joked when asked about a potential golf showdown with Federer, Djokovic, and Murray.
“On the tennis court, there wasn’t that much difference between us, but in this I’m much better than them.”

The glint in his eye, the playful jab — it’s the Rafa we know and love: competitive, grounded, and still very much elite.

Big Four on the Fairway?

Just imagine it: four legends, 69 Grand Slam titles, and one golf course. The idea of a Federer–Djokovic–Murray–Nadal golf exhibition would be an absolute dream for fans — and based on Rafa’s comments, he’d walk in as the favourite.

Let’s be honest — who wouldn’t want to see Rafa smack a drive 280 yards straight down the fairway while Federer adjusts his glove?

The Next Chapter

This isn’t a comeback. This is a continuation — of Rafa’s love for sport, competition, and excellence. He might not be chasing Grand Slams anymore, but he’s still chasing greatness — just with a golf club instead of a racket.

And in true Rafa style, he’s doing it with humility, humour, and a touch of swagger.

  1. I would love to be Vamooosing RAFA again even if it is a golf match. Would have to be televised though
