What Time Does Rafael Nadal Play Against Jordan Thompson in the Brisbane Quarterfinals?

On Friday, Rafael Nadal will compete against Jordan Thompson in the quarterfinals of the 2024 Brisbane International.

The two have already gotten a feel for each other games as they faced off in the first round of the doubles event here as well.

Rafa leads their head-to-head 2-0, having secured a straight-sets victory in their last encounter at the 2022 French Open.

Rafa is 11-1 in his last 12 matches against Australians (lost to Alex de Minaur at 2023 United Cup RR; 37-9 in career). Jordan is 8-28 vs. Top 20 opponents, 2-5 in 2023 and he went 3-9 vs. left-handers in 2023 (21-26 in career).

Our champ is playing in his first quarterfinal since 2022 Wimbledon, aiming to reach his 178th tour-level semifinal. It would mark the 21st different season in which he reaches an ATP Tour SF (2003-2022).
