Well I’m no fan of Djokovic, but I do think it was nice of him to welcome Rafa back to the tour. I do think that Djokovic respects Rafa as an opponent and enjoys playing against him. And Paul Gasol is a Spanish basketball player who is a long-time friend of Rafa.
I’m so excited that Rafa is back and playing well. I wish I would watch the matches but my local TV doesn’t carry it. But I look forward to watching him in the Australian Open and the upcoming season. Tennis is definitely better when it includes RAFA!!!!
I’m sounding like a TennisTV salesman here. It ain’t that expensive and it covers 250s, 500s, masters and majors. Plus really quite an extensive back catalogue.

Thanks, my TSN (Canada) tennis coverage is actually pretty good (all the Grand Slams, majors and some of the 500 level competition) , I just don’t want to pay the extra for more coverage, especially as we recently decided to end our Disney and Amazon packages. But thanks for the tip.

Said I’d never slag Djokovic off again, doesn’t mean that I can’t like comments from people who dislike him.
I have absolutely no idea who Gasol is, had the headline been “Gasol, and Tennis Community React to Nadal’s Remarkable Comeback”, with no Djokobitch comment, I’d be well up for reading it.
The biggest tennis rivalry ever is, to my knowledge, Navratilova Evert, H2H 43-37 in Navratilova’s favour.
Next biggest is certainly Nadal Djokovic (didn’t slag off his name, I can be civil, on occasion)
I can see why RNF would bring on posts that included Djokovic, considering the rivalry between them.
It’s my own personal opinion that Djokovic is not a nice man. Went in to the why of it, several times. I don’t like him, I never will.
