Rafael Nadal Wins Fourth Mexican Open Title in Acapulco After Beating Cameron Norrie

21-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal has won his fourth Mexican Open title after cruising past Cameron Norrie 6-4, 6-4 in the final.

Our champ did not lose a set all tournament and powered past Norrie at Acapulco to win his 91st singles title, and his third of the season.

Fresh off a dominant victory over soon-to-be World No. 1 Daniil Medvedev, Rafa extended his career-best start to an ATP Tour season to 15-0. The victory was also an 11th straight in ATP Tour finals. He will climb to No 4 in the new world rankings on Monday.

“I went through some very difficult moments during the match that I was able to save, and then I took advantage when I had the chances. I’m very pleased. It was a very important title for me, so I can’t be happier,” said Rafa.

  1. Simply stunning. Not his best level definitely maybe due to the humidity which affected his forehand plus Norrie played really well but considering Rafa was ready to say goodbye in Australia this year, i am beyond grateful and happy he is at stage in the season. Take rest and recover rafa, play IW or Miami but not both and be ready for the clay season 🙏

  6. Good Victory. Never in doubt. Played just as well as was needed. Should’ve closed it out 6-2 in the 2nd but came back nicely to wrap it up 6-4. Congrats Rafa!

Now onto IW/Miami b4 the clay fest 🙂
