VIDEO: Rafael Nadal hits ‘ridiculous’ winner at Paris Masters

(AFP) – Rafael Nadal produced an impressive display to take his career head-to-head record against Stan Wawrinka to 19-3 with a clinical 6-4, 6-4 victory.

And one winner in the second set had fans and commentators in awe.

Wawrinka appeared destined to win the rally, running Rafa all over the court before hitting what should have been a put-away smash. However, Rafa predicted where Wawrinka’s ball was heading, racing to his left before unleashing a stunning forehand winner down the line.

Wawrinka could only look on in stunned silence as fans rose to their feet with applause.

“No way,” one commentator said on Tennis TV. “That is ridiculous from Rafa Nadal.”

The official Tennis TV Twitter account posted the video, writing: “How does he do it? Incredible.”
