  1. Need more info re times of playing. TSN is so unpredictable. They jump games around like a flea on a griddle. …going from channel to channel mid match. Jean Palmer Winnipeg MB ! Canada

  2. Diego came in ready to battle and battle he did… I have to hand it to him, he made Rafa work for it. He’s one scrappy guy and and gave it his all and I respect him for the game he played…

Tomorrows weather in New York is a chance of rain/thunderstorms in the evening.with temps around 69 degrees … Obviously the roof will be closed if it rains and if not the stadium should be much more comfortable for the players than yesterdays match in the humidity…

Rafa had his challenges in this match but he forged ahead, found the openings, and brought a VICTORY Into our camp… At this point in the tournament nothing is easy. Reaching the semi’s is big for everyone…
As long as Rafa stays laser focused, he will beat Berrettimi… yes he will!!!!

    VAMOS RAFA!!!

  3. Hard match..Diego may be small in stature bt he was not afraid of our Champion. He drove through those returns as if they were to reach Moscow.

  4. Rafa had to work very hard yo hold serve in most of his service games . Credit to Diego for his ability to read Rafa and return so well . For Rafa to assure a victory over Berratinni , Rafa will have to make a higher percentage of first serves and play more serve and volley . Mario reminds me of Del Porto with a powerful service game and a bludgeoning forehand . I think Rafa should work to the backhand and to make him run often to keep him off balance . Anyway I see Rafa prevailing but this will be very competitive . Vamos !

  5. Diego is a fighter and challenged Rafael, forcing him to problem solve. Congrats on the win-hope winning under humid conditions prepares you for next match. All the best-👏👍👍🍀❤️

  6. Very difficult condition for both players, so humid! I worried a little bit when the trainer had to rub cream into Rafa’s left forearm, then Rafa also flexed his right arm in the final set a few times ……but thank goodness Rafa said he is fine physically during the on court interview🤗

Diego is a fighter👏 but Rafa won the battle👏👏

Stay strong and injury free Rafa! All the best on Friday and Vamos💪❤️
