Enjoy your break & good health.xxxxxx
Yes, we met the team leaving the hôtel in Paris Monday morning , Rafa stopped to sign and a fèw photos 😀 just completed the Press Conf in the hotel. Here we see the photos of them arriving in Palma airport. ☺ I asked Carlos and he said they were not stopping in Paris I went later on to the Nike store on the Champs Élysées and they said no Rafa visit this year as usually he goes on Monday, could be that we have had problèms with the Gilet Jaune riots these past fèw months you may have héard on your News😡 and they wanted to avoid too many people surging there. 😕 Also, usually Monday he has a photo with the trophy 🏆in front of the Eiffel Tower 🗼 I have not seen it this year 😯 have you ? They seemed in a hurry to get back to Spain. Fiona in Paris

I just read the ATP article on Rafa called ” The Path Doesn’t End Here. There’s Still Work To Be Done” It’s a very good article in which Rafa talks positively about his need to be mindful of his schedule and look after his health. He’s also extremely optimistic about success at Wimbledon barring injury.
Incidentally, I’ve just learned that today, that the clay hater, Nick Kyrgios, lost on his hallowed grass turf in the first round at Stuttgart. What’s he got to say about that then? Does grass suck too ?
Nick kyrgios sucks!
He realy, really sucks!!!!

Your hometown is beautiful. My husband and I had a great time visiting your academy after watching you played at the Barcelona Open. It was amazing to see all your trophies in one place.
We were so lucky to see you in the hotel lobby one morning during the open, it was unbelievable. I was so thrilled for a chance of a lifetime to take a photo with you and thank you for your autograph. I will cherish this photo forever……..

Yesterday evening I was emotionally exhausted and I’m still overcome by it all. It’s so special. I can’t even imagine how Rafa and his family and team must feel. I love looking at all the photos and watching the interviews and I thank Rafa for sharing some of his celebrations with us. I hope they can all now get away from the cameras, get some rest and a chance to take everything in.
I woke up this morning and counted my blessings. Of course the newest blessing was Rafa winning RG12.
I’M 4 years older than Rafa but he’s such an inspiration in my life.
Stay safe champ! Thanks so much for the memories Rafa! Always with you champ! Can we start planning on winning Wimbledon now?
Exactly my thoughts
Last year was so close
