The Fedal partnership is one that we wanted to see since the Laver Cup format was first conceived and tonight we finally saw Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer on the same side of the net.
Fedal took on Sam Querrey and Jack Sock on day two of the unique event and, under the leadership of fellow great Bjorn Borg, recorded an unsurprising victory, 6-4, 1-6, 10-5.
Roger Federer:
I’m very happy how we played, so much fun.
Rafa Nadal:
We played with too much energy, we went for everything. It was an unbelievable feeling… The support has been a unique moment for us. The crowd, the team the situation everybody was so special.

Great to see my tennis hero Rafa and his great rival Roger playing doubles in this tournament. they looked as if they were having so much fun.
Ohh wauw – what a great matchup 😍
Congratulations Rafa & Roger on the amazing win at your doubles debut 🎾💪🏼😘👏🏻😃
Gourgeous pictures 🤗❤️
So proud of you my “Two Guapotes”Lets win the next one. Your fan from Mexico.
Congrats Roger and Rafael. You both looked as though you were enjoying the
moment-especially that smash.🤗
Wow, that was truly special! It was like watching 2 big kids playing on the same side of the sand-box for the very first time. What a blast they had. You could tell. What a blast for the fans as well! Rafa and Roger actually make a terrific team.
We may not have gotten that semi-final show-down at the US Open but I think this was way better. These 2 guys are so special! Loved it!
Amazing to see them together in a team.
Rafa and Roger, great friends and they make a pretty great double partnership as well. Keep up the good work team Europe. Susie sounds like you’re having a great time, and the results couldn’t be better.
Just got back into our flat after a glorious day Maria. That was all fabulous today. Enjoying it all but its knackering i have to say. But shouldnt complain as im seeing rafa play well live and teaming up with roger tonight was just fantastic. When thomas b lost to nick k though – it was like someone had died in that arena as he’s a local boy. Although i want europe to take this, i was rooting for nick but kept my mouth shut in case everyone turned on me. Lol. Im glad you are all enjoying it. Its good fun and played in good spirits.
Sounds like you’re having fun Susie , enjoy today’s matches( Sunday) then get some well deserved sleep 😴 and then enjoy the rest of your time in Prague 😀
