The three-day competition kicks off Friday, pitting a team of the best six European players against the top six from the rest of the world, captained by tennis legends Bjorn Borg and John McEnroe. The tournament is to honor Rod Laver, an 11-time major champion who won two calendar-year Grand Slams. It will include three singles and one doubles match every day.
Rafa and Roger were clear about their choice of a possible partner. Roger said he “would love” to play with Rafa, while Rafa said “it would be amazing” to join Roger. Europe captain Bjorn Bjorg has yet to decide and were the pair to compete together it would unite two of the modern game’s greatest players.

Raonic is hurt @Bis
Did someone know why they didn’t invite Raonic?
Milos was chosen but had to withdraw due to injury. Denis was put in in his place.
Wow this is really the match of all time with the possibility of Rafa and Fed pairing for Doubles.
It will be a real match up for the inaugural Laver Cup.
All the best to both teams,
Love and prayers,
