Rafa, another great game from you tonight , your flying high, there’s just no stopping you . Another opponent kicked to the kerb. I see Nick and his brother were in the crowd , taking notes on how to defeat the king of clay at the FO no doubt. Rafa makes sure you have your A game on tomorrow against Thiem , it will be an exciting match for sure. Good luck.

It has been some day at the Rome Open today:

    Firstly, those still in:
    A Zverev
    M Cilic
    M Raonic
    Nole
    Isner
    All in SS

Secondly, those of whom are out:
    Fognini
    D Goffin
    T Berdych
    Bautista-Agut
    Wawrinka

DelPo and Kei are in a first-set tiebreak.

We had Rafa yesterday with his great sportsmanship and genuine concern and today with Novak a complete contrast with swearing and rudeness. And the cringy giving love to the crowd , Annabel Croft commented she didn’t like this love thing from Novak and thought it was a bit contrived.
CONTRIVED – deliberately created rather than arising naturally or spontaneously.
created or arranged in a way that seems artificial and unrealistic
    SPOT ON ANNABEL

Annabel has always said she didn’t like novak’s love thing to the crowd. It makes me cringe Maria. I’m so glad I didn’t see that – I prefer him to lose just so I don’t have to endure that again. Lol

Are you secretly in love with Nole? LOL You inexplicably seem unable to stop writing about him; as if you know him personally: as if you have devoured everything ever written about him. He must weigh heavily upon you. Get rid of those shackles and admit you’re missing him. Love conquers.

I Wonder if Rafa has any plans to play doubles this season. Included in today’s doubles lineup are the Zverev brothers vs the Bryan twins. Now that’s interesting.

Fabio out of tournament, that’s what you call just deserts for making fun of Rafa. Good luck today Rafa , this will be your 4th meeting with Jack Sock, he hasn’t managed to beat you yet and today will be no different . Enjoy your match and your quest to reclaim your kingdom of clay

Rafa, sock it to Jack. Have a Gr8 game and enjoy.

Looks as if it took 20-year-old Sascha to oust Fognini, home crowd or not.
