Match of the tournament so far! Previously it was also Goffin vs Thiem to me. 🙂 I got exhausted watching it. Goffin really delivered! From the start of the tournament from I what I saw it seemed he’s on a mission, so much heart, so much fight.
In the final game I was thinking if Novak came through this, unless he got drained, it would be a disadvantage for Rafa as “the king of saving MPs” might ver well have been waken up.
Goffin played really solid in the third match. At 5-5 in the decider on his serve, I was worried as the sun seemed to be troubling him a lot. So glad he got through that. He played bravely and deservingly won. Congratulations!
Now back to our champion vs Nishioka aka Ninja of the clay court.
