On his tennis and the years ahead, Nadal added, “I’m more than happy to keep on going. And I’m very excited about it. I have the motivation to keep going. For me it doesn’t matter if it takes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 years. I really don’t think about it. I go day by day. I’m happy to be here today. I’m happy with the way I’ve competed in the last 3 months of the season. I’ve achieved in the world of tennis, much more than I’ve ever dreamed. So, I’m going to play until I enjoy this sport and until I’m happy playing. I have the motivation to keep going, to start another year in one month and to keep playing good tennis every day!”

“The only thing I can say about Philippines today is the people [are] fantastic,” said Nadal, an Olympic gold medalist in 2008, who’s off to New Delhi for the next leg of the IPTL.

“So friendly, so nice with me since the moment I arrived here, and I [am] really looking forward to come back soon.

“The support of the crowd has been unforgettable,” said Nadal, “and the love from the people since I arrived here, it’s just something very, very special, and I just [want to] say thank you very much to the Filipinos.”

No me gustaría.

The much-awaited men’s singles clash between Nadal and Federer, the two great rivals on tennis courts, is scheduled for December 12 when Indian Aces will take on UAE Royals in the last match of the Delhi leg.

  4. Europe, Asia, Australia
    What do continents mean?
    If tennis is played there
    If Rafa plays there
    They become centers of interest
    With a new meaning
    A meaning we all love.

  5. I’m sure that Uncle Toni is very happy about Rafa’s decision not to make any changes to his coaching team. But you know who’s even happier about it – Djokovic, Federer and their fans.

      • Gosh, that’s for sure, Debby. Rafa is clearly enjoying the heck out of himself in Manila with such love from the fans — It would make any true Rafa fan just happy to see him to happy, but not this guy, same old crap every minute. “Fan” is a derivative of “fanatic,” and this guy embodies the very worst connotations of the term fanatic — embarrassingly obsessed and becoming kind of a nutcase about it.

  6. Hi Rafa I’m really proud of you. It’s doesn’t matter win or looze I will support you till the end. You are the greatest player in my eyes.

  7. Waiting for your coming to Delhi (India).
