No. 2 seed Rafael Nadal progressed to the quarterfinals of the Swiss Indoors in Basel after he defeated Pierre-Hugues Herbert 6-1, 6-1. Our champ was never troubled by the 120th-ranked Herbert, who double-faulted 11 times. Rafa did save two break points, including when he was serving for the match.
He will face next either Andrey Golubev of Kazakhstan or 17-year-old Croatian wild card entry Borna Coric.

It was a good win, not really challenging as Herbert was not playing as well as he could, double faulting 11 times, but I am so happy for Rafa as this is a big boost for his confidence!
