I think it’s strange. When there’s a tournament in Beijing, basically for a small title, this site is updated immediately. But during Roland Garros, it seems the moderators are busy doing their homework?
Rafa was far too cautious, reactive and defensive in the 1st set, one of the worst sets of tennis I’ve ever seen him play. Too many unforced errors. Too many balls hit short, or worst of all, into the net. Too many over-spun forehands. Too many backhands struck off his back foot. Too many missed opportunities to attack Ferrer with harder, flatter, deeper shots. He was able to overcome his bad start today, and may do the same against Murray next round. But against Djokovic, he must bring his A-game from start to finish if he hopes to break his 4-match losing streak against the Serb and win his 9th French Open and14th slam. I’m 100% confident that Rafa CAN do it, but whether he WILL do it is a whole other matter. VAMOS!!!
Happy BIRTHDAY an GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!
Happy birthday Nadal! God bless you.
